What we changed on October 29, 2026
These numbers showed our high-confidence labels were not beating the market as a whole. Assets we labeled SELL went on to rise more often than the average asset, and our strongest BUY readings rose less often. Since October 29, any group of signals that has not beaten its market's base rate is published at lower confidence or as HOLD, and that check reruns every night against fresh results. The figures on this page still include every signal published before the change.
How we score it
- ·Every published signal is logged with the price at the time.
- ·Seven and thirty calendar days later, we pull the closing price.
- ·A BUY counts as going in the signaled direction when the price moved up, a SELL when it moved down, a HOLD when the price drifted less than 3% either way.
- ·Lookback: the last 90 days of signal history. Numbers update daily.
- ·Each night we also compare every group of signals (by market, label and confidence) with how often all assets in that market rose. A group that falls short is shown at lower confidence or as HOLD until its results improve.
